The Solutions Engineering organization inside Google Cloud is focused on driving specifically engineered solutions that are targeted towards certain priority verticals (e.g. retail, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, media/entertainment and others). It also focuses on cross-industry horizontal solution areas, such as AI/ML, security, infrastructure/app modernization and others. The Solutions Engineering organization is responsible for the entire lifecycle of a solution, starting with planning, design, development and commercialization in the market.

The role:

The Full Stack Developer in Cloud Solutions Studio is a technical role that helps translate high level concepts and customer journeys into POC demo or prototype. As specialist in frontend and backend development, this role is expected to support UX Researchers, Sales and Customer Engineers with creating various interactive demos showcasing Google Cloud Platform’s capabilities. Candidates should possess practical experience with frameworks such as Angular, Node.JS or Python and be familiar with cloud based development concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with UX designers, Customer Engineers and Sales to understand customer’s problem
• Drive technical exploration/technology research and experimentation to output new concepts and POCs
• Develop functional prototypes and concept documents to prove and sell concepts to stakeholders
• Build user interfaces, integrate with GCP APIs and deploy to cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of industry experience in developing public-facing interactive applications
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Experience in two or more frameworks, preferably Angular for FE and NodeJS / Python for BE
• Working experience with Google Cloud Platform products (Storage, Cloud Run, App Engine etc.)
• Experience with source / version control systems

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development
• Experience using different Cloud Databases, both RDBMS and NoSQL and can reason about the tradeoffs between them.
• Experience in developing advanced user interactions, animations, including 3D objects or AI/ML features
• Experience working in agency environment, on multiple projects
